February Chapter Meeting

Meet our Region II Area B Director and learn about mentoring at our February lunch meeting!

Our February meeting will feature “Mentorship – Moving the Profession Forward” by Dustin Richartz, MPH, CSP, Sr. Loss Control Consultant, Lockton Companies, and ASSE Region II Area B Director. As time continues to tick and many in the profession begin/continue to gray and move on with the next step in their life after work, it is imperative that we all do our part to continue moving the profession forward.  While there are many opinions on what exactly this may mean, one thing is clear, the torch of the safety profession will be carried into the next generation by those entering the profession today or are just beginning their professional journey.  In order to reduce their learning curve, it is imperative that we all understand how we can provide a helping hand or listening ear to help this next generation of safety professionals.  During this session, we will look at a few ways we may be able to help and discuss the mentoring opportunities that are out there for each of us.
